Apikri took part in an international training session led by Dondrill Glover from TTV USA on September 16, 2025. The session, titled “Global Pathways of Craft: Reimagining the Future of Branding, Marketing, and Sales”, ran from 19:00 to 21:30 WIB (07:00 to 09:30 AM U.S. time) and was attended by 51 participants from various countries. Apikri was represented by its market, production, and business administration divisions.
The interactive training emphasized the importance of reinvention in branding, sales, and marketing for 2025. Glover highlighted how artisan businesses can reimagine their brand identity, differentiate themselves in a crowded market, and inspire global audiences through authentic storytelling. Participants were encouraged to see heritage not only as the past but also as a source of innovation and cultural resilience.
Throughout the session, participants engaged actively by answering questions, filling out interactive applications, and giving direct feedback. The use of real-time responses made the discussion dynamic and allowed for meaningful exchanges between the trainer and the attendees. Apikri’s representatives shared insights while also gaining new perspectives on how to position their artisan products more effectively in the global market.
The training also introduced innovative approaches in branding and marketing, including emotion-led strategies, AI-powered personalization, and the use of nano-influencers to strengthen community-based campaigns. Sales strategies focused on reframing challenges as opportunities—emphasizing handmade crafts as valuable, one-of-a-kind, and impactful purchases rather than commodities.
By joining this global training, Apikri not only expanded its knowledge but also strengthened its commitment to continuous improvement in facing global competition. The experience reinforced the cooperative’s mission to support artisans by bringing their unique cultural heritage into the international market with renewed creativity and resilience.
