Bantul – Apikri welcomed a study visit from the Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. The visit was attended by six lecturers and staff members who came to learn more about Apikri’s role in empowering small industries, particularly in the field of wooden crafts.

The main purpose of the visit was to explore potential collaboration between Apikri and UGM in providing assistance to woodcraft artisans in the Gunungkidul area. Through this partnership, both institutions aim to strengthen the skills, sustainability practices, and market access of local craftsmen.

Apikri’s supervisors and management warmly welcomed the delegation, expressing enthusiasm for future cooperation. The visit will be followed up with joint mentoring activities at small-scale woodcraft industry centers under Apikri’s guidance, marking the beginning of a promising partnership for community development.
