For the first time under its 2024–2026 management period, Apikri proudly received national recognition as one of the Top 10 Best Cooperatives in the Major Exporter Category. The prestigious award was presented during the Top 50 Koperasi dan UKM Ekspor Awards 2026, organized by "Majalah Peluang" in collaboration with the "Kementerian Koperasi Republik Indonesia", the "Kementerian Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah Republik Indonesia", and SMESCO Indonesia.

The award ceremony took place at the Auditorium of the Ministry of Cooperatives in South Jakarta on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. The event gathered 50 outstanding cooperatives from across Indonesia that have demonstrated remarkable achievements in export performance and global market expansion. APiKRI stood proudly among them, representing the strength and resilience of Indonesia’s craft-based cooperative sector.

The award was presented directly by the Minister of Cooperatives of the Red and White Cabinet, **Ferry Juliantono**, who expressed appreciation for cooperatives that consistently contribute to national export growth. In his remarks, he emphasized the important role of cooperatives in strengthening Indonesia’s economic foundation, particularly through international trade and empowerment of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

Being recognized in the Major Exporter category highlights APiKRI’s long-standing commitment to expanding Indonesian handicraft products to global markets. Through collaboration with artisans, international buyers, and strategic partners, the cooperative has successfully maintained sustainable export activities while empowering local producers across various regions.

This achievement marks a historic milestone for APiKRI’s 2024–2026 management board. The award not only affirms the cooperative’s performance but also strengthens its motivation to continue innovating, expanding export networks, and contributing to Indonesia’s economic development through cooperative-based entrepreneurship.
